The Commission on the Legal Counsel is facing potential litigation. Commissioners Mark Friese and Luke Heck have been contacted by a potential party to the same action. Commissioners Friese and Heck asked to remove themselves from any discussion and be excused from any votes on the matter.

The Commission was provided a copy of our policy, a copy of which is attached. Once conflict was declared, the remaining Commissioners discussed the 5 points in the policy and voted to determine Commissioners Friese and Heck have a conflict and will not participate in any vote on discussion of the matter.
