FMWF Chamber of Commerce
Private Social and Educational Event
On Wednesday, August 12th, the FMWF Chamber will host an educational social event in conjunction with the Midwest Technology Summit, which takes place on Thursday, August 13th.
This year’s Midwest Technology Summit will bring together regional leaders, innovators and industry experts to explore the trends shaping the future technology, specifically artificial intelligence. Through conversations focused on policy, infrastructure, education and workforce, attendees will get a better understanding of how AI is impacting business, community and economy.
The educational social provides an opportunity to bring together key stakeholders, including summit sponsors, speakers, as well as business and community leaders from across the region to engage in substantive dialogue, information sharing, and discussions relevant to these themes. The event will include verbal remarks from Chamber staff, summit speakers, and sponsors on emerging trends in artificial intelligence, previewing the following day’s agenda and content. Attendees will be encouraged to discuss key policy issues, industry challenges, and economic opportunities with fellow leaders and decision-makers.
Event materials and FMWF Chamber-focused materials will be available throughout the event. These materials will outline the Chamber’s mission, membership, and programs, particularly as they relate to technology and regional economic development.
The overall goal of the event is to foster a deeper understanding of the business and policy landscape surrounding technology in the Midwest, while supporting constructive dialogue between public- and private-sector leaders.
