Public Social and Educational Event
Educate on health status by including a 5-minute Assessment: blood pressure and blood sugar check. Flyers notifying Capitol employees and legislators of the health screenings were shared for posting through Legislative Council and Senate/House leaders. The public is also welcome to the screenings.

Supplies for blood sugar tests and the knowledge of a healthcare professional to interpret results are $15 per consult. No food or beverage is shared during this event.
This is a joint event with NDMA and health systems. It is a service that has been offered at the Capitol during the legislative session for many years.
