North Dakota Hospital Association
Private Social and Educational Event
As part of its 91st annual convention, the North Dakota Hospital Association (NDHA) will provide education to attendees at a session on October 22, 2025, regarding
the 340B Drug Pricing Program, health insurance prior authorization, behavioral health services, the North Dakota medical assistance program, and health care worker assault penalty.

Participants pay a fee to attend the NDHA annual convention. Senior level hospital staff make up the majority of attendees but public health workers, University System staff, other types of health care professionals, and organizations that provide services to health care providers also attend. The vast majority of attendees are not registered lobbyists. There will be no lobbying at the event.

NDHA invited seven state legislators to attend the educational session and awards ceremony as well as a buffet style lunch free of charge. It is anticipated that two legislators will attend. The lunch will provide food and beverage between Noon and 1:00 p.m. and be served buffet style to attendees for immediate consumption. After the educational portion, an award will be presented to the legislators. NDHA has a tradition of presenting nonmonetary awards at its annual convention. For example, NDHA has recognized various legislators and the Governor for outstanding advocacy in health care and recognized the recipient of the American Hospital Association Grassroots Champion Award. An organ procurement organization recognizes community health care champions for organ donation through its Hospital Partner of the Year and Donation Partner of the Year awards. As part of the 2025 awards, NDHA will recognize the state legislators for their exceptional advocacy for the betterment of health care in North Dakota. Each legislator will be given an award consisting of a color imprinted resin column personalized with the recipient’s name, NDHA logo, award name, and year. This award is intended for each individual recipient, is unique to the recipient, and should not have an independent resale value. Again, all awards have no monetary value.
