Educational Component of Event The Fargo-Moorhead Area Association of REALTORS® provided legislators with an update on current housing statistics, both on a broad national and a specific local level (state-level statistics are harder for us to quantify without a statewide research arm). Current local YTD statistics and comparisons to last year's YTD were provided, including the areas of Homes Sold, Active Listings, New Listings, Average Days on Market, Average Sold Price, and Pending Listings. The data that was shared encompasses the RMLS service area, which includes (Cass, Richland, Ransom, and Sargent Counties in ND; and Clay, Norman, Wilkin, Becker, Hubbard, Mahnomen, and Otter Tail counties in MN). Additionally, statistics related to First-Time Homebuyers were shared, mainly focusing on age and challenges in new buyers entering the market.
